Introduction

Export My Base ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy applies to your use of our application, services, features, and website (collectively, the "Services") that post, link, or otherwise include a reference to this policy.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information directly from you when you use the Services. Specifically, we collect and store OAuth tokens when you connect your Airtable account to our Services. We do not have access to your Airtable account password. We also use cookies and similar technologies to collect data for analytics and advertising purposes, including but not limited to user interactions with our Services, IP addresses, browser types, and device information.

Information Usage

We use the OAuth tokens to interact with your Airtable account, limited to retrieving data for export by you. We use data collected through cookies and similar technologies for various purposes, including improving user experience, website optimization, and facilitating targeted advertising through services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

Usage Tracking and Analytics

For usage tracking purposes, we assign a unique, persistent UUID to you when you first connect to your Airtable account. This UUID is stored in a cookie on your device and persists across multiple sessions to help us understand how our service is being used over time. We track your UUID along with timestamps and usage patterns such as:

  • When you connect to your Airtable account
  • How many bases and tables you export
  • When you download CSV files
  • General usage patterns to help us improve the service

We use analytics services including Google Analytics, PostHog, and Segment to collect and analyze this data. We may record sessions to help us understand user experience and identify issues. Password fields are automatically masked in these recordings. This data helps us improve our Services, plan future features, and understand usage patterns for potential tiered pricing models.

We do not record passwords or other personally identifiable data beyond what is necessary for the operation of the Services. Analytics data may be shared with third-party analytics providers (Google Analytics, PostHog, Segment) but is not sold or shared in a way that personally identifies you outside of these service providers.

Cookies and Consent

We use cookies to store your persistent UUID and track your consent preferences. When you first visit our site, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You may choose to accept or decline analytics tracking. If you decline, we will not track your usage patterns with PostHog or Google Analytics, though essential cookies for the operation of the service may still be used. You can change your consent preferences at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.

User Consent and Opt-Out Options

By using our Services and accepting cookies, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy. You have the option to decline cookie consent when prompted, or opt out of data collection by third-party tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and PostHog. Instructions for opting out can be found on their respective websites, or you can decline when presented with our cookie consent banner.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Your OAuth tokens are stored securely and are used only for the operation of the Services.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request the deletion of your account or personal data at any time.

Children Under the Age of 13

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal data to or on the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will notify you through a notice on the Services or via email.
